Cara:Senior

Earlier this month, I met up with Cara to shoot her senior pictures in one of my favorite locations. She’s super gorgeous!

You may remember her boyfriend, Ethan from last year’s seniors. We talked him into jumping in on some quick pics too.

Cara, you’re such a lovely chick! Good luck this year.

One year.

It’s been a year now since I photographed Matt and Sara’s wedding, and it was time to catch up with them again.

Happy Anniversary!

Any day now.

Last month I met up with Jennifer and her son Max to do some maternity photos. Jennifer was glowing, and Max showed me he was going to be a great big brother!

Good luck Jennifer in these next few days!

Goodbye Summer.

The hammock is just as inviting in the fall… after we shake all the leaves off of it.

Adventures in babysitting.

Bubbles, balloons, Oreos, and a hammock all made for a great day of babysitting Audrie in the last days of our summer break. The kids really did all the work (if you can call it that). We love our baby niece and had a blast keeping up with her.

the boardwalk

After a morning at the beach and lunch at a brew pub, Steve took all of us to the Boardwalk in San Jose. We had so much fun and could have spent the whole day there.

.

When we got home, Jim and Dru hosted a “fancy dinner” for kids only. All three of them got really into it. They toasted and gave their compliments to the chef. The kids were so impressed with the table decor, the menus, the cuisine, and most of all, the great service. Jacob and Emma agreed that out of all the fun events of our trip, this was the best.

I still have a ton of pictures to share, but I think I’ve told enough of our story for one trip.

Jim, Dru, and Steve, (and Emmie too) we are more than thankful for our time with you. And we’ve been planning for next time since the moment we left. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

a big day in California.

Our first visit to San Fransisco didn’t disappoint. Dru and Steve took us to Fisherman’s Wharf to watch the sea lions and get a glimpse of Alcatraz.

We made it back to the house in time to witness Jim’s wiffle ball team practicing for the upcoming tournament. They let Jacob play a little, and then Tim Walsh, who is a former pro baseball player, asked if he could give Jacob some tips on his swing. Jacob was super impressed and thankful for the lesson.

It wasn’t long before the girl we’d been waiting for joined us. Emmie and Emma didn’t hesitate to throw on their matching suits and jump in the pool.

That was a good day.
